What is a Sugarmaker? A Sugarmaker is a farmer who harvests maple syrup. During this special session of Stratford’s Small Farmers program your little farmer will experience the magical process of turning sap into syrup! Dress for the weather to hike through the sugar bush to the sugar shack. Warm up by the wood fired evaporator while you taste sweet maple syrup. We will also stop in the barn to check if any mama sheep had their lambs.
